FUNCTIONS



The Fitzroy Motor Boat Club is the perfect location for your next function - whether it is a wedding, birthday, funeral or work function.

We cater to functions as small as 20 to 120 + people.  From sit-down to cocktail or canape style - our incredible views and flexible seating areas make the Fitzroy Motor Boat Club the ideal choice for your next function.

RESERVATIONS

 

• A tentative booking will be held for seven (7) days.

• Confirmation must be received or your booking may be automatically cancelled.

CONFIRMATION

​

• Your booking will not be confirmed until your Hire Fee is paid in full.

• Your venue hire fee is non-refundable, however, the cleaning bond is refunded once the room has been cleaned.

• Upon confirmation by paying your venue hire fee a meeting will be arranged to discuss your requirements and wishes for your function.

BAR FACILITIES

​

• The Fitzroy Motor Boat Club is a licensed venue, and as such, BYO IS NOT PERMITTED.

• All drinks, including non-alcoholic beverages must be purchased from the Club's bar.

​

CATERING

​

• In house catering is currently unavailable.

• Outside catering may be available by request.

​

SMOKING

​

• The Queensland government prohibits smoking in all pubs, clubs, restaurants and workplaces in Queensland, as well as in commercial outdoor eating and drinking areas.

• Smoking is not permitted in the Club house or on the back deck area.

• Signed designated smoking areas are available.

MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT

​

• A coin operated juke box is available.
